[08/10/08] Neptune offline due to file system repair

Hi,

A small amount of localised file system corruption has been detected on Neptune. It is essential that we act immediately to fix this corruption. Consequently Neptune is now offline while we perform a complete file system integrity check and repair on the affected partition.

It is not possible for us to give accurate estimates of when this will complete due to the complicated nature of the process. A "best case" scenario would see the server coming back up in the 2-3 hours.

Updates will be posted to this thread when we have them.

I'm pleased to report that the server is now back online and that the corruption appears to have been successfully fixed by the repair process.
