I've added an additional FTP account to my domain via cPanel.
I am a little confused as to how I tell this user to log in .
How do they get to their folder using an FTP client ?

They would be using a Mac, so I am not sure. I would expect it to be some sort of application, I never really liked FTPing via the browser. I'll find out and report back.

I think i'm being really stupid, but i've added an ftp account for the main site for the folder it created in the public_html, e.g. by-product.info/public_html/newuser but when i try and connect to it i get the 530 error.
I'm using SmartFTP |

How are you forming the login name?
It should be user@byproduct.info
