Hi.

Just had a very weird thing happen. Went to access one of my addon domains from t'internet, and was presented with my primary domain instead.

So went into cpanel to see where the addon domain was pointing to, but it was no longer in my list of domains. The directory is still there if I ftp, but it no longer exists in my addon domains, or in my list of cpanel subdomains.

So I tried to add the addon domain, and got the message "Error from park wrapper: toonlist.co.uk is already configured."

All I need to have happen is for the donami toonlist.co.uk to point to the toonlist directory.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm taking a look for you now.

Thanks,

I can see toonlist.co.uk but it is listed in the parked domain section of cPanel, try removing it and adding it back on as an addon domain.

Thanks,

Andrew

I'll give that a try now.

Why is it showing as parked? It's been an addon domain for the previous 2-and-a-bit years? Would you know when it changed?

I'm not sure why it was parked. It could be that the way it was added on was in some way custom (maybe I manually added the addon at some point) and when the apache conf was converted to it's new format the domain was incorrectly identified as a parked domain not an addon domain.

Hi again.

I think thats what it could be - I could master adding addon domains years ago, so you did it for me manually.

I've changed it and it worked, but I got a warning saying...

"There was a problem creating the addondomain. - Sorry, you are not allowed to add any more than (3) addon domains! The domain below was not setup!"

That WAS the third one.... weird.

Thanks Andrew.

Glad it's working again, I think I've fixed the cause of the error for you.

Thanks,

Andrew
