Starting Friday, November 12, ICANN will introduce a new policy which will make domain transfers faster and easier. However, this new policy also puts domains at risk. Under the new policy domains will automatically be transferred after five days if no rejection is sent by the domain owner.
In order to prevent fraudulent domain transfers we recommend clients lock all their domains and update their contact information. Your registrar will have information on how to do this.
If you registered your domains through NetHosted they are already protected from fraudulent transfers.
