Hi,
If I ban an IP address using .htaccess, what does the banned IP see, is it a standard error ?
If it is a standard error, can I change it like 404 error pages ?
Also if they are banned with a .htaccess file, does it only block http (Port: 80), https (Port: 443) traffic ? _________________ Regards,

Garry,
I'm not quite sure what error message they would see, however it would make sense that it would be 403 Forbidden as that is Apache's default code for that. You could then customise the 403 error page yes.
It's Apache wide as Apache deals with both http and https it would ban for both.
