Does anyone here know of any good, helpful Linux forums?

I've been trying to get help from a variety of places and I feel like I'm eating runny custard with chopsticks.
In the places I've found so far, I often don't get any responses and when I do they tend to be not particularly comprehensive so I post follow up questions and they then don't get any replies.
Which is all rather depressing.

There has to be a good Linux forum somewhere...

Well linuxquestions.org is very popular but technical queries are likely to get buried pretty quickly. I'd suggest a mailing list if you're after quality support! Try to narrow it down as much as possible so if your question is kernel related post to a kernel group etc

I posted on Linux questions. My response to (paraphrased) "distros for NAS running from 512MB CF card?" was basically "Openfiler" which is 4GB by default, and 1.2GB minimum. :S
Under an hour ago I asked what takes 1.2GB, especially when the ISO is only 287MB, and it's already off the first page of recent discussions.
(I was going to ask on the Openfiler forums, but they appear to be down at the moment)

I'll have a poke around for some mailing lists.
