| |
Hi,
I am unable to setup the catch-all email, I put the username of the account into the email address box as it says, but gives an error.
Is there a way to set this on future accounts ?
On this account I have setup an email address and set in up under default. _________________ Regards,

Garry,
That does appear to be a bug. I have manually set your catch all to your username for you in this case. I would strongly suggest against using catch-all's. All they do is catch spam and increase server load.
Thanks,

Andrew
I could do with this too on my tekkies.co.uk account. What is the current situation on this issue?

Andy,
On Mars you need to specify the default address in the "Default Address" section of cPanel and you also need to disable the "No local address" filter in the Spam and Antivirus tool for the domain in question.
Thanks,

Ah...
Having looked at the spam log, I can see why you don't usually enable it.
I'll probably only do this temporarily.

Andy,
Yep that is indeed the case, the amount of spam received these days is phenomenal, and this goes a fair way to reducing it.
