Cpanel / Fantastico / Wordpress update notification

I'm looking to get a email / rss notification when my Wordpress installs need to be updated as it can take some time between the release of a new version and the update to be available to apply. All my installs are managed by fantastico. Is this (already) possible?

Yes this is possible, use the Email Notifications option in Fantastico.

You can also subscribe to the Fantastico feed. This will email you when they have updated the Fantastico products.
