Hi,

I was wondering what reasons people might have for using more than one IP address on their accounts.

What advantages are there if you have many sites on different IPs instead of sharing just one?

There is reported to be a slight SEO benefit if your sites are on a different IP to many others although this is a bit of a myth IMO.

A dedicated IP means the site can have an SSL certificate installed.
