Did you have a nice holiday Andrew? I'm still dreaming about my first holiday in almost 3 years. We are hoping to get away to the Lakes for a week in September provided we can get a locum in at work. Life was much simpler when I worked for someone else....  |

It was brilliant, a good friend of mine has a house in Orlando - spent 4 weeks touring the different golf resorts with him and some other friends 
Weather wise (because I wouldn't be british if I didn't talk about it) started off horrible, missed one hurricane just and was overcast the first week but it was still very hot 32C throughout plus with the sun coming out in the last 3 weeks :sizzle:
rhinoian, make it happen - you wont regret it 
I don't think I'll have a break that long again, however I should be able to to take the 2 weeks off a year that people just should as with you I don't have traditional days off e.g. weekends, Christmas etc

I like to go to Orlando in January. The weather is usually still in the 70's ( is till use old money for temperatures) and it is nice and quiet. Great to go to the theme parks, a bit cold for the beach. We tend to meet up with our american friends and then do some touring. We want to try the panhandle next but with two small children that might have to wait.
Glad I can't see your suntan - I might be a bit jealous.

Nothing to be jealous of, I'm of the pale comparison so I don't do "tan" more white -> red -> white
