| My domain (nidderdale-adventure-club.org) seems to be stuck at the old registrar. Could you do whatever needs to be done (or tell me what I need to do) to get it moved over here? |

Welcome to our community! You have two options - you can continue to use your old registrar and simply point your name to us (if this is the option you want then all you need do is set the nameservers on your domain to ours: ns1.net-hosted.com and ns2.net-hosted.com).
If you would like to move the domain into our care then we can arrange this for you - it costs £10 for a .org (this includes the transfer and one years extension on the life of your domain). Let me know which option you prefer

I'd prefer to move it into your care.
There's a possible problem - it expires on the 28th of Feb. Am I better off to renew it with the old provider then transfer it, or transfer it to you and then renew it? |

That's not a problem - we do need you to get one piece of information off your old registrar however: all .org's have a special authorisation code which only your old registrar will know, we need to be told this so we can initiate the transfer of the domain (which we'll do as soon as you've settled the invoice that will be arriving shortly in your email box!)

a whois lookup is still showing "status=pending transfer"
It expires in 6 hours - is the transfer likely to happen in time to renew it? |

Domains are held in limbo for upto 6 months before anyone else can do anything to them besides the owner, so in the most famous words of Douglas Adams "Dont Panic!"
You're domain will get to NH renewed, re-upholstered, and polished during the next few weeks. _________________ | Mark
