Is anyone else unable to download a file from their webspace (anywhere under /public_html) using File Manager? When I select a file and select download (either using the icon or the right-click menu) nothing happens apart from a quick window refresh. The Save As dialog never appears. Legacy File Manager works fine. Is this a bug in the new version of cPanel I wonder?

I've just had a look and I don't seem to be able to reproduce this error, tried in 2 different browsers from a reseller account and a standard client login, but both times files downloaded fine.

Seems to work fine here downloading a text file from Neptune using a right click in both FF2 and IE7.

Regards,

Pete

Ok, I have news. It's only happening with certain files. It's not folder or file extension related. It seems to be file name related. I'll try and narrow this down further.

P.S. It's not cPanel Proxy related either.

Cracked it! The user had managed to upload files with two consecutive spaces in the file names. It doesn't like that. After a rename the non-downloadable files are now downloadable.

Ah right

Will be interested to find out what's causing this!

Ah fair enough, sounds like it probably is a minor cPanel bug, going to have a go myself and see what happens
