Ok I've broken my Drupal 5 installation (ok I meant to)

I trying to install version 6 but I'm getting a ""

You chose to install in the main directory of the domain zidar.co.uk, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain zidar.co.uk (path="/home/zidar2c/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
profiles ""

Yes I do have files there for other things etc I've never had this before and idea apart from moving the files and connect via port not cpanel?

Yours

Hi,

I'm not sure what to say really? If you want to install the Drupal 6 via Fantastico then you will have to remove/move the conflicting files.

Andrew

Looks like I'm making things worse.

Is there a good way to reset the html folder?

Can you please restore zidar..

I then re think moving onto Drupal 6

It seemed so easy a failed upgrade so I uninstalled then reinstall a clean version.

What do you want restoring, your public_html folder or everything (e.g. terminate your account and restore completely from backup)?

Thanks,

Andrew

Sorry for the mess I'm calling it a night.

Please do either option that will but me back to before I start breaking eggs tonight.

I happy for you to zap zidar and do a complete restore if thats the easier and safer route.

Hi,

No problem. The delay was caused by it being quite a complicated job to do the restore. I restored just your Fantastico Drupal data, recreated the MySQL database and user and restored your public_html files/folders.

Thanks,

Andrew

Just checked from work and zidar is back, thank you very much.

Sorry to be a pain, I had been able to manage Fantasicio installs and upgrades but I guess that time is coming to an end for systems as they get older.

Thanks again I'll take more care and try when I not full of cold and in need of sleep.

Cheers again great service.

Oh well zidar front page is there, no other pages look to be working.

Don't worry about that I uninstall and do a manual install of version 6 later. (I hope)

If you can confirm the folder structure etc looks ok I'll have a go later.

I'm not sure what the install script from fantasico was complaining about after I moved the files, it was saying a file was in the way but gave no name.
