I've just got a Nokia N73 on Orange, and first off setup two of my email accounts on it, which i have here at Nethosted and all worked fine, received and sent emails. That was yesterday, today it's saying 'Server not found', although as far I know they're working, and I can access my Orange email account fine.

Has anyone had any experience with accessing their nethosted email accounts over the web on a phone, especially Orange?

In my experience accessing Webmail services can be affected from phones if you try yoursite.com:2095, you should use yoursite.com/webmail instead.

Try putting the IP address of your server (you can see this on http://status.nethosted.co.uk/)  into the POP/IMAP/SMTP box to see if that works.

I'm accessing it via the email application on the phone, not through webmail.

As I said it worked a few times yesterday, but today not joy.... very weird.

I've just checked, there are no issues with our mailservers (as you say mail not via the phone is fine).

Let us know if you find out what is causing this as I assume now it must be the phone or Orange's side.

Many thanks Andrew, got it working...

Shoved in the ip address as suggested, in place of my mail server address and its now working. I'm a bit worried it will stop again tomorrow!

I'm confused though how it would work one day and not the next.
