I'm hosting my own mailservers and they are working fine..

I've uploaded PHPBB from my server to yours..
Yet email replies does not seem to work !
Any ideas ?

Have you specified your email server in the phpBB configuration page?

Hi.

I've got it set to SMTP, and specified my smtp server in there !!

Your servers don't think mail should be on there ?

Hi Andrew.
The problem seems to be on your side.

Just had a mate send me an email, I can seee it hit my server and in it came.

I've just joined my forum under another name and email address and that came through, but didn't go via my server..

The header shows 'mail' is resolving to Pluto ! This must be internal to you system.. A Ping shows it resolving to my IP !!

Well if you've told phpBB to use an alternate SMTP server and it still uses ours I'm not sure what we can do, seems to be a phpBB bug!

mail.yourdomain.com will resolve to Pluto, but you're managing your own DNS so it doesn't matter where our server thinks mail.yourdomain.com should go, if you can send me the IP of your mail server I can change this on our server as well though to rule it out!
