Hi,

I'm looking to move form my current web hosting company (very poor support and emails now taking two days to be delivered or sent if at all).

I have a few questions:-

Do you support imap as well as pop3 access to mail?
Do you support mail forwarding to multiple addresses?
Can you tell which versions of php and MySql are currently running?

Hi Paul,

Yes we support IMAP as well as POP3.
Yes we support mail forwarders.
PHP is 4.3.8 and MySQL is 4.0.20-standard.

OK thanks for the info looks good.

If I want to move my existing web site to you is this easy using cpanel? I have backups of the existing site done from cpanel. I need to move both the web pages, a database and emails.

Sure, in the same way you can back things up in CPanel you can restore them just as easily! If you get stuck, we will help you out as much as we can.

Thanks very much for the fast service and quick responces to my question.

I have now transfered everything, web, email and database. All went very smoothly apart from a little fight with the MySql, not something I'm an expert with. Everything including the MySql appears to be working well. I've made the DNS changes so it should go live very soon.

The MySql part of our site is in fact a demo for someone we putting together a web site for, and will all being well have its ownsite soon. So hopefully I'll be ordering another site from you soon.
