Simply put - i want my email for my nethosted domain to go to my ISP (as I used to do with my USA hoster before). However something I fiddled with in the cpanel settings appears to have caused havoc with Nethosted's email system (sorry!).
With my last hoster everything I forwarded went off to my ISP (as expected) and then emptied their email. This time a lot of stuff seems to get lodged and I have to keep clearing out spam via Horde.
I have mu Outlook 2003 set up to collect mail from my ISP - should I be able to collect direct from Nethosted instead? I look in the notes and saw something about setting up Outlook Express - but nothing for Outlook and what settings I would use.
Grateful for help as I would like service to recommence and email back asap.

Howard,
It's very easy to setup your mail account via us, and I'd be at least willing to unsuspend your account to see if it was the forwarders.
Simply use mail.yourdomain.com as the POP and SMTP servers in Outlook, use mailboxname+yourdomain.com as the login name if you have created a specific mailbox (such as howard@yourdomain.com) if you haven't simply use your NetHosted username as the login details.

Andrew
Thanks. I would like to try and reset my email and collect direct from Nethosted and see if that cures everything. I will remove all default mail addresses and forwarders for the moment.
Perhaps you would prefer to clear all my email settings before unblocking the account - and I will try with just mail.bay****.co.uk and monitor.
Thanks again

I've done as suggested - cleared all setting in cpanel. Outlook 2003 connecting to my 2 accounts I have set up. I will keep checking and see what is going on - sorry to have caused such havoc!
Regards and many thanks

Howard,
Ok I'll see what happens with the server again. I hope you understand we had to suspended you to preserve the quality of the service to the other members on Pluto.
