I'm glad to hear that - welcome to NetHosted!
Our IPStag is "ENOM" - if you can get that changed ASAP when we do the transfer it should be very quick - 2 working days max I'd say for a .co.uk - naturally you can change the nameservers on the domain as soon as you sign up to get the domain working on our servers ASAP.
We also provide you a temporary domain through which you can upload and view your site, use our cPanel etc before your domain starts to point at our server.

Hi Andrew
Quick Q for you. The ISP we're with at the moment won't allow us to change the DNS servers. I can initiate a transfer and give them your tag to allow you to transfer over. Do I need to initiate the transfer with them before registering with you, as you can't request the transfer until their tag has been changed. Or can I get signed up with you and then get them to change the tag after?

You can sign up now and change the Tag later - no problem!

Yes we need to iniate the transfer - you can't do that! Tell us when the IPStag gets changed, we'll invoice you for the transfer and get it underway.

Hi Andrew
Support ticket says that the domain has been transferred out to ENOM, I don't know if that means they've actually done it yet though!!
How can I upload a website and test it in the meantime?

I sent the welcome email to the address on our records, for privacy reasons I can only send it there.
I'll also send the invoice to that domain now for the .co.uk transfer!

OK, that's fine, the only problem might be I think they've given you an email address in the domain they're transferring!!
Have you managed to request the transfer yet, or will you do that over the weekend at some point (assuming you work over the weekend!). |

As I say - until the invoice for the transfer is settled we can't initiate it, the invoice has been sent - we have staff on 24/7

Ah right, didn't realise the invoice had to paid first.
They've gone home for the weekend now, and were hoping the xfer would have been in full swing by monday!
If they pay the invoice by card first thing Monday, do you think the transfer will be done by about weds?

The invoice has been paid this morning. Can you please initiate the transfer ASAP as their current ISP has now removed them from their DNS, so their currently out of action!!

Hi Andrew
Client has just contacted me to ask if there is any progress. I've just checked with NIC and although your tag is showing, the DNS servers are listed as previous ISP.
Do you have access to any further info such as progress etc?

Transfer completed this morning, the nameservers have been changed we're just waiting for the web to realise this!
The domain should start to work in the next few hours...
