Hi Andrew

That's great news. Can you explain how the NIC whois still shows the old DNS servers, even though the record was updated at 12.20?

Cheers

Dave

I believe our changes still haven't been submitted to Nominet by Enom - I'm having trouble with the system right now (trying to confirm for you). It could be that the system is playing up.

I'll let you know.

Andrew

I can confirm there is an issue - we've submitted an urgent ticket to Enom regarding this.

Do you know how long it will take for them to respond?

Well I've marked the issue as urgent so hopefully promptly. I can't honestly say how long.

If you take a look at the whois now you'll see our nameservers are there, but also the force9 ones are still there.

Andrew

Hi

I can see that yours are listed at the top, so hopefully as their the primary ones, it won't cause too much disruption once the change filters?

Cheers

Hi Andrew

Have just tried an nslookup from my office server, and it resolves fine to your servers, the location I'm at right now doesn't resolve, but that's only to be expected. It does appear that the old DNS servers aren't actually having an impact, which is good news!!

Thanks for all of your support through this, by far the best supported host I've used!

Please let me know when the problem has been resolved!

Cheers

Dave

Dave,

The domain is working from here also

I'm still not happy with Enom as I can't seem to get rid of the force9 DNS servers.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

Andrew

My only concern is that the client will still be using the old DNS servers for general name resolution, so I'm hoping that they'll still get passed to yours for their domain, otherwise they'll be unable to visit their site or get their mail.

I can't test it until it's propagated their side, can you please let me know when ENOM respond to your ticket?

Cheers

Dave

Apologies for taking up so much of your time, I didn't realise that the client was also dealing with you directly via ticket.

Once again, thanks for all your help, hopefully we won't need any more support!!

Hi Andrew

Received an e-mail from client this morning stating that their bulk email has been rejected from Pluto. They were sent an email stating it was not sent due to abuse! Can you please shed any light on this for me?

Cheers

Our IPS Tag is ENOM.

All being well transfers take 24 hours from you authorising the tranafers by following the directions in the one or two emails that are sent out by our registrar and yours to confirm that you did request the transfer.

Having said that there is the potential for a hiccup but we will let you know of any that do occur.

I believe you're account will be activated fairly soon after we recieve paymnet and Andrew has verified the transaction through our fraud screening agents, so you will be able to set to work configuring everything ready for when the domain(s) has/have straightened out.

HTH
