Emptying spam folder

In FTP I can see I have a 43MB spam folder.

Can I just delete the file via FTP, or do I need to do it via cPanel/Horde, and if so where do I go to do so?

(I vaguely remember setting it up with Horde, but can't figure where I did that now.)

Hi,

This spam folder is deleted in cPanel -> Mail -> SpamAssassin -> Delete Spam Box

Hmmm, that hasn't done it - I don't have SpamBox enabled, and after clicking the Clear option the file is still there.

I tried enabling, clearing and then disabling, but still didn't do anything.

Then I would suggest simply deleting it via FTP
