Hi all, Im getting this error when i'm installing e107
If i go to my site i get this on the page......

CRITICAL_ERROR:
Line 134 /home/londons/public_html/class2.php

Error reported as: [2]: Unable to read core settings from database - non-existant core settings.
CRITICAL_ERROR:
Line 141 /home/londons/public_html/class2.php

Error reported as: [4]: No core backup found. Please run the Reset_Core utility to rebuild your core settings.
After rebuilding your core please save a backup from the admin/sql screen.

I've created a database in Cpanel and as far as i can tell followed instructions to the letter, anyone know what i've missed. If not i'll post on one of the e107 forums. Thanks

Why not use Fantastico to install e107 for you? If you don't want to go down that route I'll happily troubleshoot this for you.

Ahh i didn't know i could do it that way Andrew, i would have happily let Fantastico install it but i assumed because e107 wasn't in the list on the left on the Fantastico page in Cpanel it wasn't an option. So how do i go about using Fantastico to install then m8

Its not on the list? I thought it was... I'm sorry about that mis-information!

Right lets troubleshoot this issue for you. Where would you like it installed?

Well I just assume either the file isn't there or you've not set the permissions correctly so it was unable to access the file!
