Some of you might want to try Opera if you havent before, for today only they are giving away free licenses, normally around £20 ($39)
It's a great browser and definitely worth a try for free, you can download it HERE
And you can get the free registration code HERE

Cheers for that. I've just got my free registration and the difference in screen size is great. The advert really bugged me but I was too tight to pay when Firefox is also good. Back to play with opera now.

When I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox I removed all my IE shortcuts, made Firefox the default browser and 'removed access' to IE via Set Program Access and Defaults. Otherwise I'd always be going back to IE just because I was used to it.
Now I'm trying the same with Opera. I wouldn't have considered it with 7, but it looks like they've come a long way with 8.
There are already things that are annoying me, but I'm sure most of them can be fixed.
I doubt I'll end up an Opera Convert, but who knows

Well, I gave up on Opera a while ago - couldn't get used to the way the tabs work and didn't like the way the interface became cluttered quite easily, but I could see it's potential. It has some good features and Opera Mail looks promising.
Anyway Opera is free now, and not just for a day

I guess they have seen the rapid advances made by Firefox and want some of the browser market from IE. _________________ Hard to find and premium pet products at Pennine Vets |
