I doubt it was a failure as they succeeded in doing what they wanted to.....terrorise, cause mayhem and stress to everyone involved. After the real thing they know they can just do this sort of thing and get a similar effect without drawing too much attention to themselves ie. let off bombs and kill people and you will have forces down on you like a ton of bricks, do something without the technical know-how or explosives and with ready made idiots that will want to come forward for copy-cat 'games' and you succeed in terrorising. Hopefully the media and press will start to report rather than sensationalise. The more the latter happens the more fuel to the terrorism fire.

I agree, but at first it seemed as though their devices had failed, with more information now their intention was just to cause attention and worry, which I am sure they have done for some people. I am sure people will carry on though, it takes a lot to intimidate the people of london, as we have shown.

that now seems to be the story coming out - that the devices failed. It does seem a little odd though, the bus was empty, one bag was thrown onto a train. Difficult to know what to believe at times.
