This site has already answered many of my questions, but here are a few more.
I have a Drupal site running on my home PC using MySQL, Drupal 6.2, PHP, and I tried to transfer it to my current webhost. However, the Drupal installation requires register_globals setting in PHP to be disabled. On contacting the host, they say this cannot be done because "it will cause a scripting issue and affect the majority of our customers as you are on a shared hosting package. " Can nethosted get around this problem?
I notice many Drupal users have encountered this problem with their host.
Many thanks |

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in NetHosted!
We can enable/disable register_globals on a per-customer basis. It defaults to off on our servers anyway so this won't be an issue.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Just to confirm that Drupal runs very nicely here - I have several sites, all tickety-boo.. _________________ http://www.alexoria.co.uk • Find New Business for Your Business |
