How do I add a Sub Domain again ?

Having a mental block on this.

I have purchased a domain name from my usual supplier LCN.

I've added the sub domain to my hosting.

I've checked at LCN, and cannot see what I need to change to get it to point to Nethosted.

I've checked the setup for my other sites, and not been able to remember what I need to do.

I have searched on here and not able to find a solution.

Can anyone enlighten me please ?

To add a domain to your account you need to first add it as an addon or parked domain via your cPanel (or create a new account for it if you are a reseller). Then you need to change the nameservers on the domain to the same nameservers as your other hosted domains use.

I checked my other domains, and the name servers are blank.

What should I be using for a name server ?

Mark,

You have to have nameservers! If you go to dotlookup.com and enter your mocgb.net domain it will show you the nameservers.

Thanks, that link shows me the name servers that LCN do not. I suspect the do it to try and make it hard to use your own, and perhaps give in and use their hosting.

Either way, I've modified them to the Nethosted ones !

Just need to wait for the change to take effect.
