My domain is hosted on Pluto, and I've got MediaWiki installed. I've noticed that images are no longer embedded in the pages. After lots of investigating possible faults with my MediaWiki setup I've got nowhere. As MediaWiki uses ImageMagick for its image rendering, I'm wondering if the problem might be with Pluto's installation of ImageMagick.

I haven't got a definite date for when the images stopped working, but the server migration was definitely during the period between when I last checked checked a page with images on and when I noticed the problem.

Hi,

ImageMagick is installed. It's location is /usr/bin/convert. Perhaps this changed between migrations. If not, I can't see the problem at the moment I'm afraid. Can you try using NetPBM instead if that option exists?

Thanks,

Andrew

I've got the location as usr/bin/convert, and there isn't an option for NetPBM. Of course, I'm not sure that the problem is necessarily with ImageMagick, it's just a possibility that only just occurred to me. It's possible that I accidentally changed something when I updated the stylesheets shortly after the migration and that I just haven't spotted the change yet.

Oh, and thanks for responding so quickly.

Hi,

What site are you seeing this on? I'll try and find the issue for you.

Thanks,

Andrew

The site is www.whoniverse.net.  But I think I've worked out what the problem is now. It appears to be an error in the database, I've just tested things in my test subdomain, and it looks like if I upgrade to the latest version, then I can re-upload the images and they'll display just fine. There aren't that many of them to do.

Hi,

Ok no problem, I'm glad you've found the issue. Just so you know you are on Jupiter, not Pluto.

Thanks,

Andrew
