Tom,
Probably won't be doing so as Apple have made their intent clear to keep people from adding their owns apps to them:

I've been on O2 for donkey's years, never had a problem with the service.

Hi Andrew
Yes I have been following the lock/unlock debate, and for me personally I would be happy to use as a vanilla version as I mainly want it as a mobile office for syncing iCal and Adress book etc. But I think Apple in typical fashion are shooting themselves in the foot/feet as my current Nokia can pretty much download anything.. and surely the more it can do the better. But I guess the hacking minority will not persaude Steve! So I think I will wait till after christmas scrum for them..
Regards

The iphone looks great on the demo vids on the apple site, but I read somewhere that you won't be able to use custom ringtones, or something like that.
I assume that means that it won't accept mp3s other than itunes ones? If I'm using an mp3 ringtone, I don't necessarily want to use the beginning of the song. I like editing them and stuff, so it plays from where I want.
I do still plan on getting one, as my O2 contract runs out at the beginning of December, which is ideal. It means paying £5 per month more than I'm paying right now, as they are initially only supplying it on the £35 per month contract, but I love gadgets. |

I have an iPhone on Vodafone and I am very happy with it. The web browsing and email function is great. It's not easy to search Emails, but it works well.
I now might just sort out my website email, to stop it routing to my work email address, now I have something I can easily access over WiFi. |

Hi ukcobra
Do you have the Vodafone Internet bundle of £7.50 a month and how much data do you go through? I am on Vodafone and would need to have 2 phones as I still have nearly a year to finish on current contract.. butwould be good if I could use iPhone on VF too

I'm a little behind the times on these matters...
I have one of these, it works and I can drop it without worrying too much. That'll do me!

My SIM is a corporate one, so I have no specific Data Plan, nor do I know what the effects are , as my corporate bills arrive 2 months after I make calls. |

I read a good few reviews, and yesterday went to pick up my new phone.
After seeing them side by side in the shop, I opted for the LG Viewty. It was the 5 meg camera and slo-mo video recording that sold me on it. I would use the photo functions more than I would listen to music.
Internet is just as quick, still get to scroll around everywhere using your finger, syncs contacts the same, takes micro-sd cards, but no wi-fi. |
