Aha....now I see why it doesn't work for the mail address I set up. I remember telling the default to be set to :fail: - thats a good idea.
What's not apparent is that clicking on the Webmail icon via cPanel takes you into the ;fail; part of Horde. It looks like "normal" Horde and I suppose I'm thinking "well I'm logged into cPanel already, that's why there's no extra login procedure"....
...and I assume (dangerous I know!) that I'm "in" my normal webmail app.
