mysql/php speed query

Hi, i currently run a site with another hosting company and have found that it can be VERY slow when accessing the mysql database, even causing timeouts for people or blank pages loading.

I use the CMS nuke evolution and have around 100 members (20 or 30 of which are very active). when i mentioned about response times being slow to the support team they basically said there was nothing at all they could do.

I realise this isn't so much a question as me seeking assurance that i'll get better speed for my site & more support for me!

While, to be honest, it's very hard for me to judge how your site will perform on our servers I would hope you would not have page timeouts due to MySQL issues. I certainly haven't heard of this problem from any of our existing clients. Hi again Andrew,

I'm planning to setup an account with you later today. To transfer my domain name over to you, do i need to do anything at all other than change the IPStag? It's a .org.uk domain.

Never moved a domain before and don't want to get it wrong - my site visitors would not be happy!

Glad to hear it. Yes that's correct you update the IPStag we then initiate the transfer and update the nameservers.
