Hi,

I see when you click to join the NetHosted Forum, it only ask for Username, E-mail address, Password, Confirm password and Confirmation code on the registration page.

How did you do this ?

I would have asked on PHPBB Forum but the main site is down

I can't remember off hand I'm afraid, it was a simple mod available via the phpBB forum in an attempt to confuse spam bots.
