FTP Problem!

Hey, i have had problems with FTP all day, its either been really really slow or giving me errors, i never normally have problems and have not changed nothign at my end in terms of settings/router ports.

When uploading in CuteFTP, i get the error message

Code:
STATUS:>     Home directory: /
STATUS:>     This site supports features.
STATUS:>     This site supports SIZE.
STATUS:>     This site can resume broken downloads.
COMMAND:>   REST 0
      350 Restarting at 0
COMMAND:>   PORT 192,168,1,1,17,178
ERROR:>      Timeout (60000 ms) occurred on receiving server response.
ERROR:>      Failed to establish data socket.


Or.... "too many connection from IP address, Server refused access"

Any ideas? Cheers for a reply in advance

Tim,

I see a lot of errors similar to the one below in the FTP log specific to your IP:

[INFO] Can't change directory to /public_html/e107_themes/rin/theme.php

could this be the root issue. Load on the server is very low. I have restarted the FTP server as a precaution.
