Hi Andrew

I want to move a domain from namesco that is coming up for renewal in a couple of days. would it be best to let domain name expire or have nethosted transfer it? I would like to host here too, as I can use an addon domain, so am I right in thinking I can just get domain name moved? or do I need more space/hosting

Tom,

There is always a risk when transferring domains that are very close to their expiry date. When exactly does the domain expire? If you have an addon domain left then your only cost is the domain transfer fee.

There are 2 days left. I was going to carry on with them but have had decided to move to Nethosted. If this is not enough time I dont mind if it lapses and have to pay for the hosting here.

I'm happy to attempt the transfer for you, but with only 2 days it's hard to guess the outcome. If you can submit a ticket with the domain details I will invoice you for the transfer.
