Andrew,
For a couple of days now I have been getting the following message from Outlook:
Task 'mail.alleboutique.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Any thoughts?

Nick,
It could be that your connection is hanging at either our or your end, this can sometimes be caused by a full inbox or a corrupt mailbox.
