Hi,
I tried to set up my email account using the cpanel wizard, but I obviously did something wrong. At first I could receive but not send emails, and now I can't do either and get three error messages:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'editors@beatenpaths.net', Server: 'mars.solardns.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Your 'Inbox' folder was not polled for its unread count. PLAIN authentication failed. None of the authentication methods supported by your IMAP server (if any) are supported on this computer. Account: 'editors@beatenpaths.net', Server: 'mars.solardns.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: '', Port: 993, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCCDF

Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete.

I'm sure I've done something stupid, but any help appreciated!
thanks

Hi,

I see no trace of your IP or domain in any mail related logs. This does seem like a configuration problem, I would advise sending in a ticket with further details of your configuration to help us track this down.

I would advise also checking your local internet connection and/or router. As we have nothing in our logs it does seem as though perhaps these ports are being blocked by your router/firewall solution?

Thanks,

Andrew
