Hi,

I am thinking about putting together a hosting company for a particular script maybe scripts in the future, and was wondering what to use.

Would it be wrong for me to use a CMS like Joomla, or would I be best off coding it myself, I suppose what I am really look for would Joomla look professional'ish enought ?

I have no doubt Joomla can be templated to your hearts content so it could be made to look very professional.
