Hi!
Newbie here. Just registered some days ago and explored cPanel for the first time this evening. For now I have a simple question: All those files and directories that are already in the public_html folder, can I safely delete them (cgi_bin, images, _vti_bin ec.)? As far as I can see, those are for FrontPage and Perl files (?!), both of which I won't use. Just thought I'd ask before going ahead and deleting them. :-)
Greetings,
Johannes |

Hi,
Yes these can be safely deleted! I would suggest leaving the cgi-bin in place however to ensure you are able to use the CGI-Center scripts available in cPanel.
Thanks,

| If we delete the cgi-bin folder, can we just recreate it in the normal way to reenable the CGI Center Scripts? |
