| |
Sorry if these have all been asked before, but it would be great if you could summarise the answers here. I currently have a reseller account with another host but am considering swapping to either your Starter or Standard reseller account.
My current host uses WHM 10.8.0 and cPanel 10.8.2-C118. If I set up an account with you, are you able to import everything if I give you the relevant details so that I wouldn't have to reupload and reconfigure your end? (There are some addon and parked domains.)
What versions of PHP and MySQL do you run?
Are Inno_DB tables available?
Is Spam Assassin available?
Is mod_rewrite available?
Thanks. |

Hi,
Yes we can help you transfer your sites using our master WHM.
The server you are likely to be on uses PHP 4.4.2 and MySQL 4.1.18-standard. InnoDB tables are available to use as are Spam Assassin and mod_rewrite.
Hope that helps,

Thanks for the reply.
The 25 domain limit of the Starter Reseller account - I assume this means 25 separate cPanel accounts, regardless of any addon domains specific to that particular customer?
Also, what kind of response time do you generally provide to a support request?
Does the following plan sound about right?
Nethosted account setup.
Nethosted import all files, databases and configuration settings from previous host.
I change my domains (registered elsewhere) nameservers to yours.
Thanks. |

That is correct!

On average under an hour. Typically within 20 minutes or so.

Right, I'll likely be purchasing a reseller account sometime soonish then (I may run down some more account time which I've pre-purchased with my previous host first). Thanks for the info. _________________ Impel Graphic Design |

He often responds so quickly that you think he was looking over your shoulder as you typed out the request.

Sorry... another couple of questions I've thought of:
What webstats applications are available?
Are you able to install a webstat application in an accounts public html directory so that it can be accessed by a hosting customer of mine without them having to go through cPanel?
And your servers are in the UK, yes?
Thanks again. |

No problem. AWStats is available. That might be possible, however it will just be easier to symlink from the directory that the stats are stored in to the folder you want to display the stats in.
Yes they're in Stratford, London.

5 minutes - your response time is going down Andrew!
Only joking - I'm very impressed with your prompt replies. I actually came here again to edit my post as I'd thought of yet another query I should bring up to find you'd replied already!
Anyway, what image Image Processing Libraries do you have installed?
Just want to make sure that functions which a couple of sites require are available. Thanks. |

Too fast for my own good there then eh? Hehe!
ImageMagick is installed, NetPBM can also be installed but ImageMagick is the default.

If I needed to upgrade to a resellers account you get a control panel for each domain...
Can you control each domain from a main control panel as some of the domain owers would cry and run away
I guess some would like some control but I'll looking to baby sit most people and don't what to have x number of accounts and password jumping from one cpanel domain to the next ?? if you get my meaning
Cheers |
