I'm just toying with an RSS feed on a site and the XML setup is straightforward enough to do but what is the best way to add a link to it on a site? Just give them the URL of the xml file to paste into their reader or is there a neater solution?

I'd use the RSS button (a standard design button used by all sites) and then yes, just link to the XML. That's what the BBC does for example...

It might also be worth including it in a <link> tag so web browsers can detect the RSS feed and make it easier to subscribe:

That then usually lets you just click the RSS icon in the browser to subscribe. _________________ Adam |
