Sending mail to Yahoo email addresses (being deferred)

I've spoken to Andrew about this and highlighted that there is an issue, but now all my emails that I send to people with BT/Yahoo email addresses are being blocked (deferred) and it is becoming a nuisance.

Just wondered if anyone else has this problem and has a solution. I am on Neptune.

Karen,

There really is no solution to this, there are tickets on cPanel's forum about this from multiple hosts also. There is a chance that Yahoo will remove the IP from the greylist at some point.

I'll see what cPanel say regarding this to see if there is anything we can tweak our end.

Hi,

I am on Jupiter and I got this once or twice which I emailed Andrew via the helpdesk once, and this cleared up within a few days by it self. I now get 98% of the emails sent from server to yahoo and yahoo to server, straight away

I did notice yestarday I was testing a new helpdesk on my site and I sent two email from my yahoo.co.uk email address and it took a good few hours to get from Yahoo into my acounts.

I do believe it something Yahoo is doing as it was never like this last year

Just so you know Yahoo have been contacted about this also, although when a useful reply will be received is anyone's guess.

I tried to telephone Yahoo but they wouldn't help me because I'm not their customer. Yahoo really aren't very helpful.

I've asked one of my customers to speak to them.

I've got a workaround for the moment anyway, but I just have to remember a different email account when I send to a Yahoo email address.

ben dot verwaayen at bt dot com - note the (correct) spelling of the surname.
