Here's a story that might interest you if you are considering whether or not to use NetHosted.
My site suddenly became slow, slow, slow, shortly after I moved it to NetHosted. I thought it must be something to do with the server. So, I asked what was going on and NetHosted offered to move me to a different server. They did this, quickly, without any charge or complaint.
However, my site was still slow. So, I set up a copy of the site on a different hosting company where it was marginally faster. I pointed this out to NetHosted who agreed to look into the differences.
Within an hour or two it became apparent the issue was not hosting or servers, but something inside my Joomla site itself - possibly a template issue or an extension or two.
Even though this had nothing to do with NetHosted, the Managing Director, Andrew, continued to work at my problem and spent a good deal of time on it. He found the problem - an error in my template and a slowly behaving extension. By dealing with both of those issues the site became exceedingly speedy.
The work put in by Andrew goes beyond the call of duty. Other hosting companies I have used will have doubtless said "it's a problem with your site" and left me to it. Instead, Andrew took it upon himself to investigate and provide me with an answer.
I am impressed beyond measure; it is a great example of customer service which much larger hosting companies need to learn from. Indeed anyone in business should learn from this story. Doing more than you are actually required to pays huge dividends - as it has done for NetHosted. Not only will I be sure to stay with them, but I am now going to make it my business to promote their business.
