Using CPanel from behind Firewall - a solution

Hi all

I was having trouble accessing CPanel from behind a company firewall.

I stumbled across this. If it works, its pretty snazzy! :-)

Should be useful for others with firewall with port 2082 closed

This was very informative! I need to really dig around the community more.

I go to a University where we have a firewall that restricts access to only 7 ports. I noticed this cpanel proxy was only for windows. I could use Virtual PC on my mac but was wondering if anyone knows of one with a mac installer?

cPanel proxy is installed on our server, not on your home PC so should work for you (and me!) Mac users

Yes - you must upload the software and install it onto your account, once you have done this you'll have no problems connecting!

I've currently got 4 computers up and running and I'm using all of them - I really need to pick one or two and get all my stuff onto those as this is just getting silly!

I think macs are a waste of money.

I know that virus/spyware protection is a waste of money when you have a Mac.

"A Literal And Psychological Analysis of Sunshine Through The Rain" is just that. A literal and psychological analysis of a segment in the movie "Dreams" by Akira Kurosawa. Really good film.

When I get my site up and running I will most likely upload all my college documents for people to read. So once that happens, I'll let you know and you can read my paper and then truly understand.
